The Swiss cult town of Zermatt boasts the first Cannabis CBD spa in Europe! The traditional SchlossHotel Zermatt opened it in cooperation with „SwissCBD“ (by Schibano Pharma Group AG) and is presenting its innovative vision for the wellness market of the future with this new concept. Repositioned as an active hotel, the CBD spa also fits perfectly with the “Stay active. Stay well.“
The car-free Zermatt is not only an ideal starting point for various outdoor activities all year round, but also stands for its traditional hotel industry. The SchlossHotel Zermatt is now also setting new international standards and has opened the first CBD spa in Switzerland and even Europe. This was developed in cooperation with the „SwissCBD“ care line, which belongs to the Schibano Pharma Group AG.
The traditional Swiss company produces legal cannabis products for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry and is Swissmedic GMP/API certified as an active ingredient in the production of CBD. Swissmedic is the Swiss licensing and supervisory authority for medicinal products and medical devices. The sale of CBD products is legal in Switzerland because CBD does not comply with the Narcotics Act in this country. The cannabis ingredient cannabidiol (CBD) is currently very popular, and not just in Switzerland. The CEO Daniel Schibano is pleased about the cooperation: „Together with the SchlossHotel we were able to develop the right concept and design all treatments in the SchlossSpa in close cooperation.“ Accordingly, CBD comes in the spa in the form of a wide range of selected treatments, for example with CBD Oils and the CBD herbal sauna for use.
Das autofreie Zermatt ist nicht nur ganzjährig optimaler Ausgangspunkt für diverse Outdoor-Aktivitäten, sondern steht auch für seine traditionsreiche Hotellerie. Das SchlossHotel Zermatt setzt nun auch international neue Massstäbe und eröffnete den ersten CBD-Spa der Schweiz und sogar Europas. Dieser wurde in Kooperation mit der Pflegelinie „SwissCBD“, welche zur Schibano Pharma Group AG gehört, entwickelt.
Das Schweizer Traditionsunternehmen stellt legale Produkte aus Cannabis für die Pharma- und Kosmetikindustrie her und ist im Bereich der Herstellung von CBD als aktiver Wirkstoff Swissmedic GMP/API zertifiziert. Swissmedic ist die Schweizerische Zulassungs- und Aufsichtsbehörde für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte. Der Verkauf von CBD-Produkten sind in der Schweiz legal, weil CBD hierzulande nicht dem Betäubungsmittelgesetz entspricht. Nicht nur in der Schweiz ist der Cannabis- Inhaltsstoff Cannabidiol (CBD) momentan gross im Trend, gilt als beruhigend, krampflösend, entzündungshemmend und dies alles ohne berauschende Wirkung. Der CEO Daniel Schibano freut sich über die Kooperation: „Zusammen mit dem SchlossHotel konnten wir das passende Konzept erarbeiten und alle Behandlungen im SchlossSpa in enger Kooperation konzipieren.“ CBD kommt im Spa dementsprechend in Form einer breiten Palette an ausgewählten Behandlungen zum Beispiel mit CBD-Ölen sowie der CBD-Kräuter-Sauna zur Anwendung.

easy to regenerate, relax and just feel good. In
addition to the CBD offer, a classic steam bath, the Mediterranean bath, the Finnish sauna and other spa classics such as the caldarium (40 to 50 degrees) or the laconium (60 degrees) ensure even more
deceleration. Furthermore, guests in the oasis
can choose between „Water Paradise“ showers, the Ice Crystal Room or the salt relaxation room.
EINTRETEN, LOSLASSEN UND ENTSPANNEN
Im CBD-Spa wird der Gast schon am Eingang eingeladen, alles hinter sich zu lassen und sich der Entspannung hinzugeben. Es gelingt leicht, das Erlebte vom Tag und die Erinnerungen an das weltbekannte Matterhorn mitzunehmen und wirken zu lassen. Dabei lässt es sich besonders gut regenerieren, entspannen und sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Für noch mehr Entschleunigung sorgen neben dem CBD-Angebot ein klassisches Dampfbad, das Mediterran Bath, die Finnische Sauna sowie andere Spa-Klassiker wie das Caldarium (40 bis 50 Grad) oder das Laconium (60 Grad). Ferner können die Gäste in der Oase zwischen «Water Paradise»-Duschen, dem Ice Crystal Room oder dem Salzruheraum wählen.

An expression for taking the time to experience the here and now in our fast-moving world and to savor the moment to the full. The true values of the essential things in life should be lived and this feeling of well-being should be anchored so that it can linger after the stay. The new spirit encompasses „being simple“, which describes the personalized and at the same time relaxed four-star superior service on site. But it also includes doing exactly what you feel like doing without being forced, and simply doing something good for yourself. Furthermore, with „being active“, the focus is on sport and exercise in the attractive destination of Zermatt and the surrounding area. Finally, «being passive» is dedicated to the space for rest, regeneration and relaxation. The three forms of being are summarized under the new claim “Stay active. Stay well.” Simplicity, authenticity, cordiality and devotion form the foundation of the new hotel cosmos. In order to feel really good, in addition to active enjoyment, there are also relaxing and regenerating components, such as those found in the new CBD spa or in the fitness area with yoga room, where free fitness and yoga classes take place every day. The hotel also offers yoga retreats and boot camps in summer.
