SMALL POWERHOUSE FOR EVERY DAY – THE UWELL CALIBURN GK3 POD SYSTEM
With a modern, compact design – slightly based on the design of the Uwell Koko – the third generation of the legendary “Caliburn G3” system from Uwell comes along. With the high-resolution and extremely durable segment LCD screen and power button placed on the side, not only is vaping particularly easy and clear, it also enables intuitive menu navigation.
This segment LCD screen is a real rarity in pod systems and actually comes from the world of wristwatches. Incorporating it into a pod system is a new and ingenious move, because it stays on permanently for up to two years, with a capacity consumption of less than one percent - which means that the battery is actually only used by vaping and not by other additional functions of the device.
The classic 5-click function for switching on and off is of course also built into the Caliburn GK3. However, for reasons of simplicity, the device does not have a fire button and is only activated by an integrated automatic pull mechanism - i.e. by simply pulling on the mouthpiece.
To ensure that the little cloud monster is supplied with the necessary energy, a powerful 900 mAh battery was installed, which provides sufficient power for “normal everyday use”. But if the energy is still not enough, super-fast charging is possible via a USB-C port thanks to the quick charging function with two amps.
The popular Uwell Caliburn G3 Pods also remain compatible with the GK3 Pod Kit. The G3 Pods with coil have a tank volume of 2 ml with either 0.6 ohm or 0.9 ohm resistance and are already included in the scope of delivery. Thanks to the transparent pod design, the liquid level in the pod can be seen at any time. By removing the pod, rotating it 180 degrees and reinserting it, the pulling resistance can be easily changed and you can choose between a tight or relaxed pull - depending on your personal preference.

Mit modernem, kompakten Design – leicht angelehnt an das Design der Uwell Koko – kommt die mittlerweile dritte Generation des legendären „Caliburn G3“ Systems von Uwell daher. Mit hochauflösendem und extrem langlebigen Segment LCD Bildschirm und seitlich platziertem Powerbutton ist nicht nur das Dampfen besonders einfach und übersichtlich, auch eine intuitive Menüführung wird hierdurch ermöglicht.
Dieser Segment LCD Bildschirm ist eine echte Seltenheit bei Pod-Systemen und kommt eigentlich aus der Welt der Armbanduhren. Ihn in ein Pod-System einzubauen ist ein neuer, sowie auch genialer Schachzug, denn er bleibt bis zu zwei Jahre lang dauerhaft eingeschaltet, bei einem Kapazitätsverbrauch von weniger als einem Prozent – was bedeutet, dass der Akku tatsächlich nur durchs Dampfen nicht durch weitere Nebenfunktionen des Geräts, beansprucht wird.
Die klassische 5-Klick-Funktion zum Ein- und Aussschalten ist selbstverständlich auch im Caliburn GK3 verbaut. Allerdings verfügt das Gerät aus gründen der Einfachheit über keinen Feuertaster und wird lediglich durch eine integrierte Zugautomatik – also durch den simplen Zug am Mundstück – aktiviert.
Damit das kleine Cloud-Monster mit der nötigen Energie beliefert wird, wurde ein leistungsstarker 900 mAh Akku verbaut, der bei „normalem Alltagsgebrauch“ ausreichend Leistung liefert. Sollte aber die Energie trotzdem mal nicht ausreichen, ist dank der Schnellladefunktion mit zwei Ampere ein superschnelles Aufladen über einen USB-C-Anschluss möglich.
Die beliebten Uwell Caliburn G3 Pods bleiben auch mit dem GK3 Pod Kit kompatibel. Die G3 Pods mit Coil besitzen ein Tankvolumen von 2 ml mit wahlweise 0.6 Ohm oder 0.9 Ohm Widerstand und sind bereits im Lieferumfang enthalten. Dank des transparenten Pod-Designs ist der Liquidpegel jederzeit im Pod ersichtlich. Mit Herausnahme, einer 180 Grad Drehung und Wiedereinsetzen des Pods, lässt sich bequem der Zugwiderstand ändern und man kann – ganz nach persönlicher Vorliebe – zwischen einem strengen oder lockeren Zug auswählen.
